Obituary for Robert Warren "Bob" Weatherholtz

Robert Warren "Bob"  Weatherholtz
Robert "Bob" Warren Weatherholtz, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully in his home in Mechanicsville on September 14, 2022, surrounded by the love of his family.

Bob grew up and lived most of his 78 years in Northern Virginia, moving to Mechanicsville in 2019, along with his wife, Elizabeth, whom he married in 2008. After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School and many years of hard work he retired from being a regional distributor of The Washington Post newspaper. He was a patriotic spirit that especially enjoyed dancing and listening to country music.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren H., and Myrtle J. Weatherholtz, and brother Ricky N. Weatherholtz. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, her daughter Alexandra Valderrama; brothers Fred (Tammy) and Ronnie (Phyllis); his sons, Rodney (Sharlene) and Brian (Vickie); and grandchildren, Ryan (Morgan), Travis (Casey), Emily (Odell), Julia, Sarah, and Adam. He will be sorely missed by his dog Archie as well.

The family wishes to extend its special appreciation to Bob’s sister-in-law, Amparo, and her husband, Michael, for assisting in Bob’s care when needed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Baker-Post Funeral Home (10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas) on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Guests can pay their respects from 10:30am until 10:50am, with the service beginning at 11am. Procession to Stonewall Memory Gardens will immediately follow the service.
