Rosemarie B.  Cookson
Rosemarie died suddenly of natural causes in her home, surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her 5 siblings: Jeannie Hecox, Patsy Reynolds, Buddy Everett (Paula), John Herhei (Charlotte), and Annette Stumpf (Frank). Further, she is survived by her 5 children: Catherine Gauthier (Jack), Susan Dakon (Mike), Laura Peffley (Bill), Joan Fund (Jeff), and John Cookson (Paula). She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, with 2 additional great-great grandchildren due in 2021.

She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, MSgt. John Wesley Cookson, and her siblings, Vincent and Mary. Also predeceased is her oldest grandchild, Christina Gauthier, and her youngest grandchild, John Cookson II.

Her life took her to Europe as a military wife and then through a long career as a civil servant with the Naval Air Systems Command.

Her burial with her husband will take place at Arlington National Cemetery on August 25th at 1:00 PM EDT.
