Obituary for Sharon Ann Wark
Sharon A. Wark, Age 74, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
She was born on July 7, 1944 in Buffalo, New York to the late John (Jack) and Helen Wark.
Sharon graduated from Kenmore High School in Buffalo, NY. She has 2 daughters from her first marriage, Laura Brown and Stephanie Goodrich. Later, Sharon moved to Manassas, Virginia where she met and married Daniel Martin, who survives.
She is a retiree from Navy Federal Credit Union and loved to sing and play piano. Known to most as “Sherri”, she had an amazing heart and capacity to love and to find the best in people. She enjoyed talking with friends and family for hours and making people laugh with her quick wit and unfiltered sense of humor.
She will be greatly missed by her daughters and husband as well as extended family and friends.
Those whose lives were touched by Sherri and who wish to attend the memorial service are invited to join the family on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 12:00 -3:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia for food and fellowship.
