Obituary for Stephen Eugene Unthank
On this second day of February 2023, in the wee hours of the morning, Stephen Eugene Unthank “Steve”, passed away after a long and protracted illness. He was 75 years old.
Steve was a graduate of Osbourn City High School, attended Frederick College and graduated from Ben Franklin University, now part of George Washington University.
He had a stellar career with FAA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda; his son, Sean; his grandson, Brandon; his brothers, Gary of Clifton, VA and Teddy of Manassas Park, VA; his sisters, Carol of Waxhaw, NC and Sharon of Farmville, VA. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
May he rest in peace and the love of all who knew him.
The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.
