Suzanne Carol  Brown
Suzanne (Licht) Brown, loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, age 75 of Manassas, Virginia passed away from Diabetic Complications Monday, May 15, 2023, in Arlington, VA.

Suzanne was born August 1, 1947, in Key West, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Gloria Licht, wife of the late Harlow Brown. Survivors include her loving son Kirk Connelly and his wife Kathy of Manassas, Virginia; her loving stepson, Benjamin Brown and wife Jessica of Clarksville, Tennessee; her brother Robert Licht of Reston, Virginia; and her sister Pamela and husband Charlie Gamble of Leesburg, Florida.

She is survived by her five grandchildren: Kasey Connelly, Kaylee Connelly, Brinkley Brown, Christian Brown, and Rose Brown. She is survived by her nephews and niece: Jason Licht, Brian Licht, and Juli Gamble.

She retired from Navy Federal Credit Union after over 33 years of service. She served as the Navy Federal Welfare and Recreation Association President. She was a very active supporter of the Tae Kwon Do community for over 15 years and was affectionately known to everyone as “Grandma”.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:30am on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Baker Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA 20110. Memorial service and interment will be held at 12:00pm at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
