Obituary for Thomas Clifford Goodman
Thomas Clifford Goodman, 66, of Gainesville, VA, passed away February 14, 2022, after battling multiple medical complications. He was born on February 7, 1956, to the late Howard and June Goodman.
Tom is survived by his wife, Diana Goodman; his children, Dana, Dustin, Glenn, and Becky; his brothers, Jesse, Pat and Mike; his sisters Patricia and Julia; one Granddaughter, Harper (Lovebug); his loyal dog, Dax, and numerous other family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Portia Roberts.
Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman for many years and had a passion for drag racing. He enjoyed vacationing with his family yearly to the Outer Banks as well as having his hands involved in many projects around the house. He was a very hard-working man who always felt the need to keep busy.
Anyone who knew Tom knows that he had never met a stranger and had the ability to make anyone laugh. He was as selfless as they come, often neglecting the needs of himself for the needs of others. To say that he will be missed by his family and friends would be an understatement.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. The service will follow immediately at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Dallas Slemp officiating.
