Thomas Richard Winter
Thomas Richard Winter passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Prince William Hospital after a battle with Covid. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was born on October 16, 1955 to Richard Joseph Winter and Patricia Ann (Lenich) Winter.

Thomas married the love of his life, Catherine Alice Winter, of 42 years on August 10, 1979. They were together a total of 48 years.

In addition to his wife, Catherine, Thomas is survived by his children Stephanie A. (Winter) Irvin wife of Jeremey Irvin; Cathie Winter, and Thomas A. Winter husband of Fariba Winter; Eric Fishel, his grandchildren Joseph, Vanessa (and husband, Jesse), Austin, Eric, Natalie, Nathan, Kadin, and Alexander. His great grandson, Bentley. His brothers David J. Winter (and wife Tammy) and Richard P. Winter (and wife Judy).

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard J. Winter and Patricia A. Winter, his brother John A. Winter, and grandchildren Skyler and Chloe.

Tom recently retired from Utz Quality Foods after 30 years of employment. Utz became a part of his family.

Tom loved camping in his RV with his wife, they recently took a seven week trip across the country along with many trips to different beaches. More than anything, Tom loved his family. He spent his life working hard for them and helped in any way he could. He loved spending time playing with his grandchildren. He loved making bets about football with his grandsons, dancing with his granddaughters, and singing and rocking his little grandchildren with his "do do do, la la la" song he made up. He will be missed by everyone, he was our superman.

He will be loved always and forever and a day.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8213 Linton Hall Rd, Gainesville, VA 20155.
