Butch was admired and appreciated by my entire family. We each have special memories of him. My husband commented on how Butch has always been concerned with the needs of others. When my oldest began driving, Butch would regularly remind her of car maintenance she needed to do to avoid the big repairs. My son has a knack for fixing things and Butch took the time to work alongside him and instruct him on all sorts of repairs through the years. He always told me that Butch was a great teacher. My youngest also adored Butch. One time she made a crafty item for him and he would remind her that he kept it in his vehicle, so he could look at it every day. I enjoyed serving with Butch at church. He was always one of the first to volunteer for community outreach events we scheduled. He loved God and people and served both with a great attitude, a smile and lots of hard work. My life is better because Butch was a part of it. See you later, Butch!
