Obituary for Winston George Powell

Winston George  Powell
Winston George Powell, 79, of Woodbridge, passed away September 28, 2020, at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 21, 1940 in Panama, he was the son of the late Samuel and Eloisa Grant Powell. Winston was married to the beloved Viviana Cowan Powell, who preceded him in death in 2002.

Winston worked as a water specialist for Arlington County for over 25 years. He and his loving wife raised four boys and was the best father ever. He did everything for his family and has now gone on to be with the love of his life; his mission completed.

Survivors included four sons, Maxilmiliano “Max” Powell and his wife Viviana; Marcos Powell and his wife Hilary; Mirko Powell and his Husband Greg Bourscheid; and Micael Powell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several siblings, nieces, and nephews.

…Until we see each other again, we will always love you…say hi to mom, RIP….

The family will hold a private service on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment will take place in Panama at a later date.

Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, under the direction of Michael Post.
