Charles Franklin "Charlie"  Leach
Charles Franklin Leach, 73, of Marshall, passed away April 22, 2014 at the Fauquier Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 24, 1941 in Broad Run, he was the son of the late Albert L. Leach and Gertrude Edwards Leach. On December 21, 1963 in Marshall, he married the former Jean Yowell, who survives.

Mr. Leach was a retired, self-employed painter who worked in both Fauquier and Loudoun Counties.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Leach; and one brother, Albert E. Leach. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Jean Leach of Marshall; one son, Richard N. Leach also of Marshall; three sisters, Anna Elam of Culpeper; Hazel Sisson and her husband Sam of The Plains; Doris Jacobs and her husband Bobby of Warrenton; five brothers, LeRoy Leach of Middleburg; Eugene Leach also of Middleburg; Michael Leach and his wife Shirley of Falls Church; The Rev. H.G. Leach and his wife Mary of The Plains; Gary Leach and his wife Alice of Rixeyville; and many nieces, nephews and loving family members.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Charles’s life will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. H.G. Leach officiating.

Interment will be private and take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may take the form of a donation, and be made to the Manassas Pentecostal Church, 8727 Wellington Road, Manassas, VA 20109.
