Obituary for Thomas Carroll Hartman

Thomas Carroll  Hartman
Thomas Carroll Hartman, 65, of Nokesville, passed away unexpectedly May 4, 2015.

Born June 26, 1949 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Edwardine Wilken Hartman and the late John Carroll Hartman.

Tommy was a mechanic for Hartman Fleet Service, and was a member of the Jim Dean Certified NASCAR Racing Team.

Surviving besides his mother, Edwardine Mancari of Delaware, are one daughter, Missy Hand and her husband Jon of Harrisonburg; one son, Michael Hartman of Nokesville; two sisters; one brother; and three grandchildren, Kendall and J.J. Hand; and Logan Hartman.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Tommy’s life will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.

Private interment will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to American Heart Association, 4301 Fairfax Dr #530, Arlington, VA 22203.
