Obituary for Carolyn Robison

Carolyn  Robison
Carolyn Sue Robison (Smith), 45, of Bristow, Virginia, formerly of Floyd Knobs, Indiana, passed away
unexpectedly June 4, 2015.

Born October 21, 1969 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Hobart Smith and Martha
Mason Smith.

On November 18, 2012 in Sellersburg, IN, Carolyn married Kevin Robison, who survives.
Carolyn was a loving daughter, mother, sister and friend. She was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Besides her loving husband, she is also survived by her mother, Martha Hyre and her husband Steve
of Greenville, IN; one daughter, Lilly Townsend of Sellersburg, IN; one son, Clayton Townsend also of Sellersburg, IN; one step-daughter, Ashley Robison of New Albany, IN; one step-son, Ryan Robison of New Albany, IN; one brother, David Smith of Louisiana; and several nieces, nephews and beloved family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Spring Valley
Funeral & Cremation Service, 1217 E. Spring Street, New Albany, IN. The family will also receive
friends on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, where a funeral
service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Richard Willard officiating.

Graveside and interment services will take place in the Hillcrest Cemetery, behind the Floyd Knobs
Christian Church, Floyd County, IN.

Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the charity of your choice.
