Obituary for Patricia Betty Senavitis

Patricia Betty  Senavitis
Patricia Senavitis of Manassas passed away on July 24, 2015 at the age of 97 at Caton Merchant House. Pat was born on May 30, 1918 in Shenandoah PA and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva Kegolis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Anthony Senavitis and her son, Raymond Senavitis.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters Katherine and Eva and one brother George.
Survivors include her daughter Gloria Pino and husband Ernest of Manassas, daughter-in-law Nancy Senavitis (wife of Raymond Senavitis). Grandchildren: Maria Posey (husband Philip), Jean Ott (husband Ed), Mark Senavitis (wife Tammi) , James Senavitis (wife Aimee), Dawn Senavitis, Angela Slater (husband Ben), John Pino (wife Shannon). Great-Grandchildren: Heather, Andrew, Derek, Chris (wife Amanda), Amanda, Tyler, Jamie, Ryan, Amelia, Charlotte, Piper and Arielle. Great-Great-Grandchildren: Shannon, Savannah, Aaron, Austin and Lexi.

Pat was a beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of 24 grandchildren. Pat was devoted to her faith and was a member of All Saints Catholic Church for over 30 years. Pat enjoyed baking and was gifted in flower arranging, sewing, crafting and playing cards. She played bridge well into her 90’s. Family was so important to her and she gathered with her family for holidays and meaningful family events.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. There will be a prayer service in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 p.m.

A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA with Reverend Noah officiating.

Graveside and Interment services will take place in St. James Cemetery in Falls Church, VA at 12:00 p.m.

A luncheon will follow interment at George Brent Council Knights of Columbus, 9290 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA.
