Angie L. Abbott, 85, of Manassas, wife of the late Richard G. Abbott, passed away August 27, 2015, at her residence after an illness.

She is immediately survived by her daughter, Wendye. She was surrounded by loved ones, family and friends alike when she went to be with the Lord. Angie was a lover of birds and gardening. She always kept those she loved and cared about close to her heart.

Angie’s wishes were to be cremated with a small private ceremony and to be laid to rest next to her husband at Quantico National Cemetery.

Those arrangements will take place at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the National Bird Conservatory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center under the direction of Richard E. Merlo.
