Obituary for Ossie Lee Delp

Ossie Lee Delp, age 84, passed away on January 25, 2016 in Manassas, Virginia.

Born on May 24, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Leota Delp.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Frances Vaughn, Minnie Hayes, Mattie Dolby, Bessie Robinson, Alberta Delp, and her only brother Lewis Delp.

She is survived by her son, George Delp and a sister Gladys Seese. Ossie also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she cherished dearly.

Loved by her family and many friends for her caring nature, she was always ready to help those in need whenever possible. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and plants and was very loving towards her pets. As a follower of the gospel and it's music, she especially looked forward to attending her church.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2016, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Bowers officiating.

Interment will be on Friday February 5, 2016 at 1:30pm in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, 831 Dranesville Rd, Herndon, VA.
