Condolence: I am very sorry to learn of the death of Tom Mullins. I knew him in Korea in 1983. We had some great talks at the O Club. He gave me great guidance on my career. Thanks for your help Tom and rest in peace.

Condolence: Tom Mullins dedicated his entire life to serving his Nation. From his early days as an artillery officer to shaping or making many of the procurement decisions that have made the United States Army the best in the history of the world. While I only knew you briefly, your reputation for high standards of planning, prudent use of taxpayer dollars, and the love of your family were well-known throughout the Army Acquisition Workforce.

While you did not graduate from West Point, I find a portion of the last stanza of the West Point Alma Mater to be particularly apropos to your life:

And when our work is done,
Our course on Earth is run,
May it be said, “Well done.
Be thou at peace.”

Well Done, Mr. Mullins! May you rest in eternal peace …

Condolence: O God of mercy, peace, and love, we remember before You in this moment our comrade and friend Tom. We recall with gratitude and respect all that he stood for in this life. Help us to live in the companionship of his spirit. May we be kind to the friends and family he so loved; devoted to the community in which he lived; and loyal to the causes for which he served. Thus, in lives of his friends, may he continue to Soldier on, to our great comfort, to the betterment of Your creation, and to the furthering of Your most Holy Will. Amen.

Condolence: From times when we were small children until now we looked to our brother, Tom, for guidance and wisdom. He was always there for us. It is difficult to envision a future where he is no further than a phone call away. As an adult we shared good times together, not as many as we would have liked. Our prayers are with the Bernie and Shannon as they continue on in life. We were blessed in life by Tom and his family. Lord we thank you for the life he shared.
