Obituary for Wayne Howard Ballard
Wayne Howard Ballard of Chantilly, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016, at the age of 55.
Wayne was born on August 26, 1960, in Alexandria, VA. The only son of Marie Diane & James Howard Ballard. Wayne was a native of Northern VA and worked as a porter at Pohanka of Chantilly. He enjoyed watching his favorite sport teams, the New York Yankees & Dallas Cowboys. He also had a love for animals.
Wayne is survived by his loving mother, Marie Ballard of Chantilly VA; sister, Robin Hart & brother-in-law, Steven Hart of Chantilly, VA; sister, Janet Norris & brother-in-law Kevin Norris of Front Royal, VA; sister Tina Miller & brother-in-law Christopher Miller of Chantilly, VA; sister, Peggy Weatherholtz of Chantilly, VA & sister, Bonnie Trinh and brother-in-law Loc Trinh of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews, two great nieces, and two great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father James Ballard & brother-in-law Randy Weatherholtz.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A memorial service will take place beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with
Dr. L. Dean Majette officiating.
Interment will be private and at a later date.
