Obituary for Jana Lee Bennett

Jana Lee  Bennett
Jana Lee Bennett, 75, of Gainesville, passed away unexpectedly, June 1, 2016 as a result of an automobile accident.

Born October 15, 1940 in East Liverpool, OH, she was the daughter of Lester and Clara Jurczak Hall.
Ms. Bennett worked for the United State Department of Justice for over 20 years. She was an active member of NARFE, enjoyed playing bridge and bunko, and was an avid gardener who loved flowers and birds.

Survivors include her three daughters, Kimberly Johnson and her husband Paul of Centreville; Amy Santiago also of Centreville; Victoria Slykhuis of Manassas; one sister, Sondra Perkins and her husband Jim of Youngstown, OH; one brother, Darrell Hall and his wife Judy of Alexandria; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on June 27, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:30 in the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road. A celebration of Jana’s life will begin at 11:30 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dawn Singleton officiating.

Private interment will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
