The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Matthew Barto can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Life is short and shorter still when we have to endure the pain and suffering over the loss of a loved one. Memories are everlasting and with our memories we'll cherish the time we have had with Matthew. I did not know him well. I had the chance to help Matthew and Amanda look for a home they would share and build a future. It was a wonderful experience learning more about Matthew and his commitment to Amanda. They were made for each other. Happiness survives sorrow and in time I hope Amanda’s heart felt pain will be taken over with the joy knowing Matthew will always be with her in her heart and in her memories.

Condolence: We are deeply saddened by the news of Matthew's passing. I still remember him as a toddler saying Cliff's name as Ca and being with everyone to pick me up at school. I know there are no words that can bring you comfort right now. Our heart hurts for you so much. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May God give you the comfort and peace that you seek and may his soul rest in peace.
