The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kimberly Hunter can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Col Mark Frampton,USMC( Ret)

I met and served with Kim in 2003 at MSTP in Quantico. She immediately impressed me as a total professional, who never backed down from a challenge. Over the years , I was able to stay in touch and would periodically stop to visit Kim and Ken, if I was in the Quantico area. I greatly enjoyed these visits because she made me LAUGH. What a gift. Marines aspire to have it said about them, that they can be counted on when there is tough work ahead. I would pick Kim to be on my team in a NY minute. I can unequivocally state the I became a better Marine- and a better person- because of Major Kim Hunter. So, in the highest tradition of the US Naval service, I wish you "fair winds and following seas" , and send you off with a hearty 'Semper Fi." Thanks for your devotion to duty, your unwavering friendship and for making us ALL better Marines. Thanks for being ALWAYS FAITHFUL.
