Obituary for Anita Marie Garneski (Hummell)
Anita Marie Garneski, 78, of Haymarket, passed away Thursday March 28th, 2024, at her home, with her loving husband, Frank, by her side.
Born August 17, 1945, in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John I Hummell and Adeline Santoleri Hummell.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by four children, Victoria Sulanke and her husband Mark; Timothy Garneski and his wife Christina; John Garneski and his wife Lucy; Laura Muasher and her husband Jamil; seven grandchildren, Claire, Tanner and Luke Sulanke; Magdalena and Dominic Garneski; Chloe and Ethan Muasher; one sister, Barbara Hummell; and one brother, Father John Hummell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on April 11th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 23331 Sam Fred Rd, Middleburg VA 20117.
A reception following the service will be held at the Regency at Dominion Valley, 15351 Championship Dr., Haymarket VA 20169. This is open to all who wish to celebrate the life of Anita Garneski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the Prince William SPCA, PO Box 6631, Woodbridge, VA 22195.
