Obituary for Archie Edward Chronister Jr.
On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Archie Edward Chronister Jr., loving husband, father of one child, and grandfather of two, passed away at age 77.
Archie Jr. was born on October 16, 1941 in Hanover PA to Archie and Florence (Musselman) Chronister. He attended William and Mary College, he was a member of the Carlisle, PA Moose, a Mason and Shriner.
Archie was an avid golfer and brought playful competition to the sport. He also enjoyed fishing, traveling to the beach in Ocean City, MD and playing cards with family and friends.
Archie Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Archie Sr., and his mother, Florence. He is survived by his wife Donna, his son, Stephen, his two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Samantha, his brother Martin and wife Jenny and his niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday April 11, 2019 in the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Service 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110. The family will greet friends from 11:30-12:30pm. At 12:30pm a Memorial Service will be heldwith Rev. Dallas Slemp officiating.
Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Stonewall Memory Gardens 12004 Lee Hwy, Manassas, VA 20109
