Condolence: Our sincerest sympathy to the Faint family. We all moved to IBM Manassas together from Huntsville, Ala. in the early 70's. Dave and family were initially neighbors of ours in Point of Woods townhouses in Manassas.

You will never know the sadness that we feel since yesterday with you leaving all of us. Not sure how to feel at the moment. It will be very strange few days.

You were so special to us and for so many years hanging tight with us on trips, kids, campground and beach adventure. Watching you and Gary flying kites on the beach brought such wonder to my eyes that these two grown men, usually very stern men were flying these kites and behaving like children...laughing and getting all tangled up in the kite strings. David, you brought out the child in us in many ways with some of your adventures.

We have hung together for over 37+ years and we feel such loss today. Not sure how to react to all this. I am just so thankful that your pain and suffering is over. U can't image what was going through your mind in the last few months and the silent suffering that you went through.

I promised you that I would take care of the loved ones you left behind and do whatever it would take to ease their sorrow and I will.

Rest in peace my friend.
