I do not understand how our love and admiration for you could not hold you to this world. My gratitude for what you taught my sons, Makani Yerg and Kolya Yerg is something too late said. You were a mentor for life to them, giving unmatched lessons in being a human being with great humility and compassion, and an inspiration to pursue dreams, a magical performer, an exemplary Ballet Master and true artist. Dear Alisher, thank you for everything you've done for me. You touched the lives of every student you taught big or small and though I've only known you for four years you made the biggest difference in my life. Every balletic accomplishment or failure I've ever made, my immediate thoughts were to share, to make you proud, or to ask you how I could've done better. He was the first person to look at me and say "yes I can teach her to dance". He is the reason that I want to be a teacher. He taught every age, and never counted someone out just because of how they looked, how old they were, or if they were too hard on themselves. He taught everyone, and everyone was touched by him. I always find myself quote him during my classes. Whether I'm teaching at work or if I'm in atatomy class and I'm teaching people older then me the muscles and stuff.
