Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Bologna can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Sibling Rivalry

For many years, we had a New Year's feast at Grandma's house in Accokeek. Lots of family would come from far away, including Uncle Anthony and Aunt Amelia. Ww came to expect the good natured oneupsmanship between Grandma and her big brother. One year she would show him her playing card holders, then the next year he would get (or make) a nice wood box to put the cards in. When he came back, she would make sure he saw all the features of her automatic card shuffler. At New Year's Dinner, this would extend to a joke competition. All year, they pull save up jokes they heard and try to outdo each other on New Years. Ah, managia! (sp?)
