We would like to extend many thanks to everyone that has wished our family condolences, strength, prayer, and well wishes in this difficult time on the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, aunt, friend, and over all great woman, Transito Guzman, who was lovingly known to most as Tanchito. We will greatly miss Tanchito and ask to all our family and friends to continue to pray for Tanchito, and for our family so we may continue forward in this difficult time. We would like to notify all our family and friends and extend an invite to participate with us in funeral proceedings for our lovely Tanchito.

This Thursday, June 4th, from 10 AM-11 AM we will be holding a viewing for Tanchito at Baker-Post Funeral Home. We will also be having a mass for Tanchito at All Saints Catholic Church on Saturday, June 6th, at 12 PM. We understand that these are difficult times, and if you are not able to attend either or both services physically, we ask that you join us spiritually in remembering Tanchito, and praying for her soul. Both locations of where the services will be occurring are as follows:

6/4/2020 10 AM – 11 AM
Baker-Post Funeral Home
10001 Nokesville Road
Manassas, VA 20110

6/6/2020 12 PM
All Saints Catholic Church
9300 Stonewall Road
Manassas, VA 20110

To participate in the services, we please let you know that Baker-Post Funeral Home, and All Saints Catholic Church has let us know that due to the ongoing pandemic, regulations from the CDC, WHO, and Governor Ralph Northam must be adhered which are as follows:
• Only 30 people will be allowed at a time in the funeral home. Baker-Post has asked the family that we let our family and friends know that this will be strictly enforced, and we need to follow this due to health and safety regulations. We are asking that please for anyone that will be participating, that you come in to the funeral home, pay your respects to Tanchito, and make a quick goodbye so we can get more people to participate in the viewing.

• Baker-Post has asked the family that we let our family and friends know that we will need anyone participating in the viewing, after your visit to Tanchito is over that you promptly leave as due to health and safety regulations and current Social Distancing rules a strict enforcement of no socializing will be allowed in the parking lot.

• Due to Governor Ralph Northam’s regulations in the state of Virginia, a strict enforcement of prior to entering the funeral home for the viewing and the church for the mass, of wearing of face masks is required due to the ongoing pandemic. We regret to inform that unfortunately if this condition is not met, you will not be allowed to participate in the funeral home for the viewing, or in All Saints for the mass. This is all for the safety of everyone who would like to participate with us in the viewing and mass, the people from Baker-Post funeral home, All Saints Catholic Church, and for the Guzmán-Rodríguez family.

• Finally, if you or someone in your home has contracted the COVID-19 novel CoronaVirus and have not completed the mandated 14 day quarantine, we ask that for your safety and for ours, that you please participate with us spiritually and pray for the soul of Tanchito, and remain in the safety of your home for both the viewing and the mass. We understand and appreciate all the loving support in this difficult matter, and we need to follow these guidelines so we can God willingly get out of this pandemic.

Once we are out of this pandemic, the Guzmán-Rodríguez family will hold a celebration of Tanchito’s life where we can have greater attendance and support. Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their outpouring support for our family in this difficult matter and we thank God for everyone and their support.
