Angela Rae Burgess, age 35 passed away peacefully on February 21, 2023, at Prince William Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Angela, a loving and devoted mother, leaves her 3 children (Logan 13, Madison 10, and Lily 7) behind with their father Brandon. Angela is survived by her maternal Grandmother Gwen Mettig, parents William & Teresa Picking, and numerous in-laws, Aunts, Uncles, & cousins. She knew she was loved!

Angela was a woman of faith, whose life revolved around her children. She was so proud to be a soccer, dance, gymnastics, baseball, and football mom. She was a remarkable multi-sport athlete who enjoyed time outdoors, in the woods and on the beach. She was an outstanding soccer player, playing at an elite level from grade school to semi pro.

Angela had a gift and passion for helping others. In the church and the local communities she always lifted others above herself with sincere kindness and love.

Services have been entrusted to Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas VA 20110. There will be a visitation prior to her memorial service from 10-11a.m. on Saturday March 4th, and a service immediately following at 11a.m. with Pastor Darin Brown officiating.
