Obituary for Anthony Torres Jr.

Anthony  Torres Jr.
On Saturday April 11, 2020 Anthony Torres Jr. loving husband and father passed away at age 44.

Anthony Torres Jr. was born on October 10, 1975 to Adelina Troche (Thomas) and Anthony Torres Jr.

At the age of 15 while attending school in Hawaii he met the love of his life Toni Lynn Brittian (Torres). They began dating July 10, 1991. Six years later they started a family of their own with their first-born son Desmond William Kekoa Torres. Five and a half years later their family was complete with Austin James Makana Torres, then came Koa Anthony Torres. Anthony and Toni sealed their love for one another and married on October 5, 2002. They were together for 29 years in a relationship full of love, honesty, and promise.

Anthony had a passion for wrestling at an early age which he instilled into his sons. When Anthony became a young adult be grew an interest in Mixed Martial Arts. Anthony began coaching and managing his eldest in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, traveling across the United States for competitions. This would lead to a professional career in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) which he never once missed Desmond’s fight competitions.

Anthony had a bond with his family like no other. Anyone who knew him, knew family was his first priority. He enjoyed family fishing trips, family dinners, and communicating with his family by calling just to see how they were doing. He also had much love for his two Boston Terriers, Bugsy and Callie. He had a great interest in show cars. He liked to research show cars and spend time watching videos on various types of show cars. He kept his own cars immaculate. Anthony was inspired by music of all genres. Although Anthony’s boys were in three different states Anthony still communicated with them daily through group chat and facetime. It was a bond that could not be broken.

He is survived by his wife, three sons; Mother, Adelina Troche-Thomas; Dad Dwight Sr.; Paternal Father, Anthony Torres; Brothers, Dwight Thomas Jr, Angel Torres; Sisters, April Torres, Angela Torres, Antoinette Torres and Amanda Torres. Anthony will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

A private funeral Service will be held at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center
10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110 on April 21, 2020 at 1:00pm.

Interment will be private and at a later date.
