Obituary for Bernard Algot Sandberg, Jr.
Bernard Algot Sandberg, Jr. 81, of Manassas, passed away May 8, 2020 at the UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA.
Born on August 3, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Bernard Algot Sandberg, Sr. and Ruby Irene Hall Sandberg. He spent 20 years serving in the US Marine Corps and was a 2 time tour of duty Vietnam Veteran. After leaving the service he worked as a computer technician for 30 years until he retired.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; and his 2 children, Christina and David; along with one brother, William.
Due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions, private inurnment will take place in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, under the direction of Michael Post. Please sign the guestbook at www.bakerpostfh.com.
