Clinton S. Lee, 83, known to family and friends as Snooky, died 11 December 2013 peacefully at home. Born May 19, 1930 at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, VA to Robert F. and Harriet E. Lee, He is survived by his wife, Jean (Embrey) of 63 years and four married children; one daughter Marsha Dobson and three sons, Michael, Daniel, and Christopher Lee. Respectively, are his daughters-in-law Judy, Theresa, and Brenda. Also, surviving are son-in-law Rob Dobson, eight grandchildren; Clayton & Phillip Lee, Emily Hoiska, Jacob Scott, Lauren, Dylan, Steven & Shannon Lee and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the youngest of eleven siblings. Surviving are two sisters; Lucy Merritt of Kennewick, WA and Virginia Cox of Somerville, VA; and one brother, Briscoe of Front Royal, VA.

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Anna and six brothers Robert, Edwin, Charles, Fitzhugh, Tom and Richard (infant); and son-in-law Mike Scott.

He was employed for 4 decades by the Electronic Industries Association (EIA), a National Trade Association representing one of the most dynamic high-tech manufacturing industries in the United States. He majored in Business Administration at Strayer College and Southeastern University in Washington, D.C. and retired August 1, 1991 as Vice President of the Association’s (EIA) Marketing Services Department.

Mr. Lee also enjoyed sports and was known for his creative “Mr. Fixit” talent with repair jobs. He was proud of his bird feeder installation that “out smarted” the squirrels. His pride & joy was development & maintenance of the computerized Lee and Embrey Family Directories reflecting detail contact information on the entire family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Peyton Embrey officiating. Graveside and interment services will be held at Mt. Holly Baptist Church Cemetery, Remington, VA, on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in the name of his wife Jean, 124 Park St SE, Vienna, VA 22180.
