Obituary for Diral Anton Winston
Diral Anton Winston departed this life at the age of 45 on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Adler Center for Caring in Aldie, VA, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Diral, born to parents’ Ann and Leon Wicks, took his first breath on October 27th, 1975. He was a force to be reckoned with from the get-go, making friends effortless. While he was a private person, he never had second thoughts about lending an ear or hand to any of his friends in need. He graduated from the Fairfax County High School on June 20, 1994, and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the ECPI University on January 2013.
While Diral never married, he lived a full and vibrant life to the very end. He is survived by two aunts: Dorothy M. Reavis, Minnie D. Henderson (Reverend Ronald Henderson) both of Henderson, North Carolina; and best friend like a brother, Joseph Cook. He is predeceased in death by his aunt, Martha Winston.
