Dorothy Helen Gay, 94, formerly of Florida and Anderson, SC., died December 18, 2007 at the Gainesville Health and Rehab. Center, Gainesville, VA.

Born June 6, 1913 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Valentine and Mary Jane Samuels Brown. Ms. Gay was a former resident of Anderson, S.C. at National Health Care Facility.

Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Wheeler and her husband Harold of Haymarket, VA; Diane Hodges of Wilton Manors, FL; and one granddaughter, Brandelyn Tsoupeis of Dunedin, FL.

At Ms. Gay’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will be private and take place at a later date.
