Obituary for Gary Gene Masters

Gary Gene Masters, 79, of Gainesville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

He was born on November 18, 1941 and raised in Inwood, WV to the late Vernon and Wanda Masters. After graduation from Musselman High School, Gary joined the Air Force and served his country in Vietnam.

After living in Tennessee for 37 years, he moved to Virginia where he spent his time working as a Journeyman Meat Cutter before retirement. He was also a sports fan rooting for the Washington Football Team, Washington Capitals and the National’s Baseball Team. Gary also enjoyed following horse racing.
Besides his parents, Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and John Masters, both of West Virginia.

Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years, Kathy Masters; one daughter, Tiffany Garrison and her husband Patrick; two granddaughters, Gabby and Gracie; one brother, Tommy Masters; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service and inurnment will take place at Quantico National Cemetery on Friday, March 26, 2021, 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Zachary Morrison officiating.
