Gary Hilton Weakley, 65, of Manassas Park, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at his residence.

Born on April 18, 1952 in Arlington, Virginia, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Weakley and Erma Virginia Wymer Weakley. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, William “Bill” Weakley Senior, Lawrence “Larry” Weakley and Robert “Bob” Weakley.

He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fairfax, Virginia and worked for Fairfax Glass Company of Falls Church, Virginia for 33 years. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran with the 519th Military Police Battalion HHD Company in Fort Meade, Maryland.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Putnam Weakley, whom he married on February 03, 1979. He is also survived by his two children, Jacob Weakley of Ashburn, Virginia and Ashley Weakley and boyfriend Slade Bittler of Shady Cove, Oregon; three grandchildren, Karly Rae Weakley, Hunter Weakley and Riley Weakley; two grandcats Seamus the Bengal and Ciara “Squeak” the Siamese; six sisters, Virginia “Gin” Lentz, Patricia “Pat” Arnold, Betty Altizer, Mary Weakley, Barbara Tennis, and Dorothy and husband David Potter; five brothers, Eugene “Gene” Weakley, Douglas “ Doug” and wife Doris Weakley, Alan and wife Brenda Weakley, Kenneth “Kenny” and wife Wanda Weakley, and Louis “Jimmy” and wife Debbie Weakley; one sister-in-law Barbara Weakley; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will forever be in our hearts and will be sorely missed by everyone that he loved.
