A Former "Mugger"

So sad to see Helen's obituary in this morning's Globe, but her picture reminded me of the many times we shared not only coffee at "The Mug" in Marshfield, but opinions and solutions to world problems, as well. I recall our many gatherings to celebrate life's milestones, among them Jack and Helen's fabulous 50th Anniversay gala in Boston, birthdays, pool parties, showers, weddings, etc.. We were good at partying! Immensely proud of her family, Helen routinely had pictures to show and tales to tell. Once she moved to the D.C. area, we lost track of one another. However, we all knew she needed to be closer to family-always of paramount importance. Sorry to hear that Alzheimer's finally took her -it is such a cruel thief. For her ninety-two years on this earth, those who were touched by Helen are all the better for having known her. Heartfelt condolences, Toots and Jack Couture
