Obituary for Henry David Martinez

Henry David Martinez
Henry David Martinez, age 27, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in Manassas, Virginia. He is survived by his parents Matilde N. Torres and Jose S. Martinez, his two beautiful daughters, Genesis N. and Amoreli C. Martinez and three siblings Janie (Jaime) Cruz, Franklin (Sandra) Martinez and Jose Manuel Martinez, as well as his grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Henry was born on November 16, 1993, in Houston, Texas to Matilde Noemi Torres and Jose Santos Martinez. Henry was the youngest sibling, followed by his oldest sister and brother, Janie and Franklin. When Henry was 3 years old, the family decided to move to Herndon, Virginia. The family reunited with Henry’s aunt and cousins during this time. Two years later, the Martinez family settled in Manassas. Henry attended Sinclair Elementary and Manassas Adventist Prep School. At 14 years old, Henry started a new journey with the Lord and was baptized at Manassas Spanish Adventist Church on July 11, 2008. During the same year, he moved to Fredericksburg, where he graduated from Riverbend High School in 2012. Prior to completing his high school diploma, in 2010, Henry became a father to Genesis and three years later to Amoreli. Henry was a dedicated and hardworking father.

Henry was always willing to help whenever needed and would love to crack jokes and would get along with everyone. In his personal time, he especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters, drawing, tattooing, listening to music and exercising. On this day in loving memory of him, we the family of our departed loved one, look forward to the future. We also look back to the past remembering the wonderful memories which we dearly cherish. We have hope that we will meet again on Resurrection Day. Henry will always be loved and greatly missed.
