The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Barbe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Dave Burke

After almost 15 years of a mostly telephonic and lap top relationship, it's terribly hard to say good bye to Jamie Barbe; I can't imagine how difficult it must be for all of you in the Barbe family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers have been with you all week and will continue to be with you during this awfully tough time. Jamie was always someone you wanted to have a work issue with, because he not only did his best to solve it, he did it with grace and style, with some humor and a twinkle in his eye, and he was incredibly approachable no matter how busy he was. He knew work was important but never forgot that the reason we all work is for our families. There are many of us who grew together at MCR for several years and we will always have that kinship and connection . People like Jamie are what make up the true fabric of an organization, and make people want to stay and be part of it. We're all missing him and thinking of the Barbe family at the same time. This world is a lesser place without Jamie in it, but we will persevere in his spirit. God bless, Dave
