James Elmer  Wilson
James Elmer Wilson, 79, of Manassas, passed away September 30, 2020 at the Novant Health, Prince William Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1941 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Elmer and Marion Dennis Wilson. On August 1, 1987 in Manassas, VA, he married the former Vonda K. Miller, who survives.
Mr. Wilson grew up and attended schools in the McLean, Virginia area. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; and later served and worked as a warehouse supervisor for over 30 years for the former E.D. Wilt Company.

James was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Vonda K. Wilson; two daughters, Corinne Beach and Nancy Wilson; one son, Patrick Wilson and his wife Lana; two step-children, Timothy Miller and Jennifer Austin; 8 grandchildren, James Michael Beach and his wife Heather; Christopher Beach; Ryan Beach; Jessica Beach; Zackery Cox; Brianna Wilson; Madison Austin; Bryce Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan Beach and Austin Beach.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Graveside and interment services will take place at 12:0 p.m. at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.

Memorial Contributions may take the form of a donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 (www.stjude.org)
