John Lawrence  Stippey
John Lawrence Stippey, 79, of Manassas, passed away on February 6, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Carol, his children Patrick, Ann Marie, Kevin, and Laura (McAleer), son-in-law Brian McAleer and grandchildren Alexis and Ashley Stippey.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 24, 1936, John served his country proudly in the Air Force before relocating to Washington, D.C. This is where he met and married his wife Carol, four years later they moved to Manassas to raise their four children. He was a doting father where he was always seen supporting them at school and sporting events. John was an electrical designer for many years and even after retiring would still work part time designing.

The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 and a memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia.

Private interment will take place in Quantico National Cemetery.
