Kathy Lewis of Manassas Virginia was born September 20, 1960, in Birmingham Alabama to Mr. Harry Lewis and Yvonne Lewis Clifton.

Her family relocated to Massachusetts in 1963. Kathy went to John W. McCormick, Roslindale High, and Cambridge Rindge and Latin where she received her high school diploma.

Shortly after graduating she moved to Texas and started her career with Continental airlines.
Here is where Kathy got to see the world. Any chance that she got she was up in the air going somewhere. When you called her on holidays and birthdays you would say Kat Where are you at? She would laugh and giggle then say wherever she was.

God blessed Kathy to complete her graduate degree with a Master of Science in forensic accounting, while working full-time as a supervisory auditor in the federal government and all of this during the pandemic. Her faith in God and her determination enabled her to soar new Heights with this endeavor.

Sports and Kathy go hand-in-hand she could and would talk most men under the table. College football, football, WNBA, NBA, tennis, golf, hockey, and baseball, she knew them all. She may have no longer lived in Boston, but when it came to sports, she was a loyal fan and represented all 4 teams.

Family meant everything to Kathy. Whenever something was going on, she made sure she was there. Funeral, wedding birthday, holiday, baby shower, graduation, fish fry or just because there was one person you can count on to be there and that was Kathy. She knew how to bring people together with her genuine smile, and a one-of-a-kind laugh. One thing we can all say about her is that she lived her life to the fullest.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lewis, Yvonne Lewis Clifton, and her brother Donnie Lewis Clifton.

Aunts Cynthia Clifton of Boston Ma, Robbie Donko - Hanson (Peter) of Boston Ma Uncle Hiram Clifton of Brockton Ma, best friend Robin and a Host of great nieces, great nephews, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers who will always cherish her memory.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Kathy’s life will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dallas Slemp officiating.

Interment will be private and take place at a later date.
