Lester Lee  Sisson
Lester Lee Sisson, 81 of Fredericksburg, Virginia was born in Fairfax, Virginia on October 2, 1939. He went to be home with the Lord on August 26, 2021.

Lester lived in Fairfax, Manassas, Gainesville, and Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Manassas, Virginia, serving as an usher and youth bus driver, and attended Ferry Farm Baptist Church, Fredericksburg, Virginia, as his health allowed.

He was a retired drywall finisher of local Painters Union #890. He loved his line of work. He enjoyed all sports both participating and watching, hunting, and gardening. He had Alzheimer’s complications throughout the later years of his life.

Survivors include-
Daughters: Kathleen Marie Sturrock of Leesburg, Virginia, Susan Elaine Sisson of Potomac Falls, Virginia, and Laura Renee’ Bolen of King George, Virginia.
Grandchildren: David Lee Hollenbach of Louisville, Kentucky, Richard Raymond Hollenbach of Manassas, Virginia, Rhonda Lynn (Brian) Gross of Foley, Alabama, and Amber Nicole Bolen of King George, Virginia.
Great-Grandchildren: Dalton Lee and Lacey Lynn Hollenbach, Louisville, Kentucky, Raymond Andrew Hollenbach, Winchester, Virginia, and Irelyn Rose Gross, Foley, Alabama.

Siblings: Sister, Barbara (Mickey) Caylor of Stephens City, Virginia.

Many nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by: Parents; Samuel W. Sisson Sr., and Lucy F. Croson-Sisson. Siblings; Mary Casciano, Edith Case, Doris Harrell, Pauline Smoot, Margaret Pearson, Samuel Sisson Jr., Robert Sisson, Charles Sisson, and Patricia Collins.

A viewing will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on September 01, 2021, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110, with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA 22032 at 2:15 p.m.
