The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Martin Robl can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Robl. I worked with him at the FDA from 1996-2001. He was always so kind to me and he left me with a lifelong love and caring of animals. My condolences to his family, he won't be forgotten.

Condolence: Martin Robl was a man whom anyone could count on. His generosity extended from his family to the most destitute to whom he would deliver food and gifts at Christmas. He was a faithful and devoted husband, a gentle supportive father and a proud grandfather. Martin was a scientist who practiced his art as a Dr of veterinary medicine but retained his Midwest charm and sense of humor. Martin laughed a lot. A hearty laugh. He was easy to talk to and always showed great interest in what you had to say. Over the short term of his recent illness he knew his fate was bleak because he was a pathologist. Martin never expressed sympathy for himself but fought the best he could. He faced his fate with strength, love and dignity. He was a great friend.
