Mary Margaret DeNeane (Peggy), age 79, passed away on February 23, 2016.

Born on February 17, 1937, she was the daughter of William and Katherine Knapp DeNeane.

Peggy grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she graduated high school in 1955. She went on to attend
The University of Maryland, where she was graduated with a degree in 1960. Peggy was an employee of IBM for 31 years.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann K. Meding.

Ms. DeNeane is survived by her nieces, Katherine Jeanne Pavlik of Lewes, DE and Karen Sue Meding of Austin, TX, and 8 grand nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special friend of over 30 years, Curtis Clem.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016, 1:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 9750 Wellington Road, Manassas, Virginia.

Interment will take place on Monday, March 7, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at National Memorial Park, 7492 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, Virginia.
