Maureen grew up in Verona, New Jersey and leaves behind her father Patrick, sisters; Kathleen and Eileen, and brothers Patrick and Kevin. Maureen was preceded in death by her mother Molly O'Callaghan and younger brother Daniel Robert. Maureen attended Wilkes University where she studied education and met Glen. After graduating college Maureen worked as Special Education teacher and lived with her husband in Bloomfield, New Jersey. In 1992 Maureen moved with her family to Centreville, Virginia where she resumed her teaching career. In 2000 Maureen again moved with her family to London, England where she taught at the American School in London for five years. In 2005 Maureen and her family returned to the United States and settled in Gainesville, Va., where she taught school and worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Maureen loved to help people, go on long hikes, visit wineries throughout the region, travel and just spend time quality time with her family, friends and two dogs, Abbey Rose and Hooch.

Maureen you were an incredible wife, mother and friend. Although your family loves you and will miss you terribly we take solace in knowing that your love and strength live on in each life you touched.

Go to your rest, you deserve it.

We will love you forever;
