Obituary for Maxine Evelyn Fields

Maxine Evelyn Fields, 71, of Manassas VA, passed away on December 18, 2013.

Maxine was born on August 19, 1942 in Alexandria VA, daughter of the late Edgar Roland and Ruth Roland. Maxine was the loving wife of the late John H. Fields Sr.

She is survived by her 3 children; Kimberlyn Barnes of Norfolk, VA; Brandon J. Fields of Manassas, VA; and Bradford T. Fields of Manassas VA; her grandchildren, Juliana S. Fields and Bradford T. Fields, Jr.; her sister Carolyn Boggs of Woodbridge, VA. Her stepchildren; Renee Pogue of Woodbridge, VA; Scott Fields of Winston, GA; Karen Kleinschmidt of Boyce, VA; Deirdre Elliott of Reston, VA; Sharon Tillotson of Red Lion, PA; Michael Fields of Culpeper VA; and 10 step grandchildren.

Maxine was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Maxine was very thoughtful and generous; she loved animals, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and sister. Her life impacted the lives of many and her loss will be felt by those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

A viewing will be held at 12 p.m., Sunday December 22, 2013 at Baker Post Funeral Home, where the service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013 at Baker- Post Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd., Manassas, VA 20110. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, Va.
