Pauline Virginia  Murray
Pauline Virginia Murray was born March 10th 1943 to the late William Hughes and Mary Elizabeth Murray. Pauline was a resident of Manassas, Virginia. On the morning of March 18, 2018 God saw her pain was too much for her to bare, so he whispered in her ear. “Your work is done come on home to me.”

Pauline leaves her four children to continue to love and cherish the many memories of her. Her only son, Michael Murray of Winchester VA. (Georgia Murray): daughter, Valerie Kato of Gainesville VA:(Charles Kato) daughter, Paula Murray of Front Royal VA, daughter, Maria Marshall of Fredrick, Maryland. Also, she raised LaTahn Murray and Pamela Murray for a short period of time.

In addition, she was preceded in the death by her sisters and brothers. Mary Louise Sheppard, Emily Elizabeth (Kate) Murray, Hester Lucille Hughes Ramey, Lewis Hughes, Jess Hughes, Charles Otis Hughes, Lewis Edward Murray, James Murray, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and amazing friends.

Pauline stayed at home. She took special joy in her 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Before her illnesses, she loved spending time, outing, and sleepovers with her great cousin, Evelyn Thornton. Gladys Bailey and Audrey Bush known as her best friends.

To the family and friends who visited her in the nursing home we appreciate your time. We are grateful for your prayers, visitation, support, food, phone calls, cards, and social media post in our time of loss.

Family will receive friends on March 23, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel 10001 Nokesville Rd. Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 4:00pm with Pastor Michael Rogers officiating.

Interment will be private and at a later date.
