Obituary for Robert O. Bissonnette

Robert O.  Bissonnette
Robert Bissonnette of Front Royal, VA passed away at his home on April 25th, 2022. Robert was born in Maine on January 7th, 1936. He was the son of the late Frances and Julianne Bissonnette.

Robert served 20 years in the Air Force. He is a Vietnam veteran. He was in Vietnam from 1965 to 1967. He retired from the Air Force in 1974 and then was employed with Atlantic Research from 1974 – 1985. He then worked with Manassas Park City Schools until he retired in 1998.

Robert is survived by his sisters Thema Hall and Rena Runyon (Walter Runyon). Robert is preceded in death by his brother Richard Bissonnette.

Robert was married to Tilda Bissonnette for 58 years when he lost his beloved wife in 2015.

Robert has 2 daughters. Cindy Bissonnette of Winchester, Va and Nancy Barton (Jonathan Barton) of Front Royal, Va. Two grandchildren Angela Mullins Joshua Mullins) of Middletown, Va and Jonathan Barton, Jr (Cassandra Wooldridge) of Front Royal, Va. Three Great grandchildren Audree Mullins, Joshua Mullins, Jr, and Brentley Barton. He had several nieces and nephews.

Robert enjoyed and loved his family dearly. He loved company and phone calls. He was always so thankful if anybody would help him with anything. He loved his guns and fishing.

He will be missed by so many.
