Obituary for Robert Eugene Bungard
Robert Eugene Bungard, age 78, of Manassas, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at his home.
Born October 9, 1935 in New Jersey, he was the son of Walter Bungard and Josephine Roe Bungard. Robert married the former Jane Doris Blackman, who survives.
Robert was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and worked for the US Government for over 20 years. He later owned and operated his own real estate appraisal business in and around the Northern Virginia Areas.
Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Bungard. Survivors include his loving wife Jane of Manassas; one daughter, Zoe Lloyd and her husband Richard, of Burke, Virginia; one grandson, Christopher Lloyd also of Burke, Virginia; and one brother, Charles Bungard, of Michigan.
The family will receive visitors at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, VA, from 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street SE, Vienna, VA 22180, or to Vitas Hospice, 1604 Spring Hill Rd #450, Vienna, VA 22182.
