Obituary for Samuel RC Stamper

Samuel RC Stamper
Samuel RC Stamper (Sam), 27, of Manassas, VA passed away unexpectedly on July 19, 2016.

Sam was born on September 2, 1988 in Arlington, VA. He attended Osbourn High School in Manassas, VA and served in the US Army from 2008 until 2013.

Sam loved music and playing the guitar, piano, and harmonica. He loved to tell stories and never failed to entertain family and friends with his jokes and witty humor. His goofy, and sometimes crazy, personality made everyone he encountered smile. He had an appreciation of U.S. history (especially the Civil War) and enjoyed walking in the Manassas Battlefield whenever he had free time.

Sam was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and an unforgettable friend. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother, Adele Stamper, his father, Walter Stamper, his two sisters, Katie Egan and Beth Pate, his brother, Jared McLeod, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. A memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
