Obituary for Shirley Ann Keister (Stroop)
Shirley Ann Keister, loving wife, and mother, went to be our Lord Jesus Christ, on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Born on September 17, 1941, in Singers Glen, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Gertrude Fulk Stroop.
Shirley was a long-time resident of Manassas Park, Virginia, and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She cleaned houses and sewed clothes and loved helping others.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Stroop, Clarence Stroop, Glen Stroop, Lewis Stroop, Jr. and her sisters, Rachel Whetzel, Ruby Patterson, Mabel Whetzel and Francis Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Robert Keister; her sons, Michael, and Donald Keister; sister, Donna Cubbage along with nieces and nephews.
She did so much for our family. She can never be replaced.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A funeral service will begin
at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will immediately follow at Quantico National Cemetery.
